Some of the information we collect when you use the Services, such as your name, title, company name, postal address, email address or telephone number, or, if you buy something, your payment information, may allow you to be identified. We call this type of information “Personal Data.”
3. HOW WE COLLECT AND USE PERSONAL DATA.
(a) Information Products. If you want to subscribe to, or register for, one of our Services, you will need to provide relevant contact and, if applicable, payment information. We will use this information to provide the Services to you and to communicate with you regarding the Service. We may also share this Personal Data with promotion partners, as described below.
(b) Education Platform. If you use our online teaching platform, you will need to provide certain Personal Data to register, e.g., the kind of information you would have on your business card. We use this Personal Data to provide you with your certificate when you complete a course, to alert you about future courses and other products or services that we think may be of interest to you and for our internal research purposes. If you are using this Service pursuant to a subscription of your employer or business, information that you provide while using this Service may be made available to such entity. If payment is required for your subscription, you will need to provide payment information, as described below. We may also share this Personal Data with promotion partners, as described below.

When you subscribe to, or register for, certain Services, we may ask you about your company’s purchasing intentions and criteria, such as what products or services you recommend or your company plans to buy. Your response to these questions is voluntary. If you do choose to respond, we may share this Personal Data with promotion partners, as described below.
(d) Promotion Partners. We sometimes share Personal Data with carefully selected companies who offer products or services we think might be of interest to you. These companies may use such Personal Data to market their products or services to you. If you prefer not to have your Personal Data shared, please contact our data protection officer with your request, as indicated below.
(e) Chatrooms, Blogs or other Forums. We may provide an opportunity for you to post information to an online chatroom or forum, as a comment to a blog entry or by means of other publicly accessible areas of our online Services. If we do so, any information that you provide may be publicly displayed. We urge you not to provide any Personal Data or anything else that you wish to remain private in such a context.
(f) Surveys. We may ask you to complete surveys or opinion polls from time to time. Participation is voluntary. We only use and publicly disclose the information that we collect from surveys or polls in an aggregate manner, not in the form of Personal Data. We use this information to allow us to improve our Services or learn more about our customer base.
(g) Inquiries. If you send us a comment or question or make an inquiry to customer support, we will retain the information that you provide to us for the purpose of responding to you, as well as for improving our Services.

We may also engage service providers for technical support, website development, payment processing and other functions. These service providers may be given access to Personal Data for the purpose of performing those functions, but they will be contractually bound to maintain the confidentiality of the information and not to use it for any other purpose.
(n) Social Media. The online Services may include social media features, such as links that allow you to follow us. These features may collect information about your IP address and which page you are visiting on the Services, and they may set a cookie to make sure the feature functions properly. Your interactions with these features are subject to the privacy practices and policies of the companies that provide them.
